FLUFFY WAS ABOUT 18 MONTH'S OLD WHEN WE GOT HER FROM THE CAT'S PROTECTION IN HULL.
SHE WAS A STRAY AND LIVED ON THE STREET OF HULL FOR ABOUT 18 MONTH'S.
WHEN WE GOT HER SHE HAD ONLY THREE TEETH LEFT AND SHE WAS VERY CHESTY. BUT WE GAVE HER ALL THE LOVE SHE HAD MISSED OUT ON IN HER FIRST MONTH'S OF HER LIFE.AND A VERY GOOD HOME. BUT HER HEALTH NEVER GOT ANY BETTER.
BUT SHE LIVED LIFE TO THE FULL UNTIL 8th MAY 2003 WHEN HER ORGAN'S FAILED. THIS IS WHEN THE VET SAID THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO FOR HER, AND WE HAD HER PUT TO SLEEP. IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST DAY'S EVER.
WE STILL MISS HER TODAY. BUT I KNOW SHE IS OUT OF PAIN AND WALKING IN GOD'S GARDEN.

They're Only Ours for a Little While

We humans are prone to chase rainbows,
always wanting that pot of gold.
But the wisest of us remember the joy
of just a small creature to hold.
Allow yourself to accept their great gift,
and know what devotion is worth.
If you've been loved by a dog or cat,
you're the richest person on earth.
But their lives are lived in miniature-
bright sun to palest moon.
They bless our days with innocence,
and faithfulness that's stilled too soon.
These precious lives are fragile,
as fleeting as a baby's smile.
So give them all the love you have.
They're only ours for a little while.
And in the lonely moments
when you pause to wonder why,
hold close those brightest shooting stars
that burn so briefly in our sky.
But then look deeper in your heart
to know all love must intertwine,
and when the night sky seems the darkest,
you'll see their light forever shine.

A Cat's Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king-size bed is soft and deep...
I sleep right in the center groove
My human can hardly move!
I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight
And here is where I pass the night
No one disturbs me or dares intrude
Till morning comes and "I want food!"
I sneak up slowly to begin
My nibbles on my human's chin.
She wakes up quickly, I have sharp teeth -
And my claws I will unsheath
For the morning's here and it's time to play
I always seem to get my way.
So thank you Lord for giving me
This human person that I see.
The one who hugs me and holds me tight
And sacrifices her bed at night.

Look for me in springtime
As raindrops fill the air
In the splendour of the rainbow
You’ll find my presence there.

An August day will find me

Let them go, but not completely.

and Love is of the spirit.
Nothing you have experienced together can be taken from you.
And your loved one shall be eternally yours in that love.
Weep not too long, that they may also cry,
But rejoice in their life and in yours also.
